Ohio Application Fee Waiver Request
Ohio State takes its land-grant mission seriously and is furthering discoveries across Ohio. As part of this commitment, The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has created the MAE at Ohio State: Engineering a Better Ohio initiative. This initiative enables students enrolled in an Ohio higher education institution to request an application fee waiver when applying for either the MAE PhD or MS-Thesis programs. Please see below for requirements of the program.
Requirements and Notes:
- Must be majoring in one of the engineering programs listed below.
- Must have at least a 3.7 cumulative GPA.
- Fee waivers are for the autumn 2025 term only (while supplies last)
- One application fee waiver per applicant.
- Applicants must request fee waiver by November 15, 2024.
- If awarded a fee waiver, students must apply by November 22, 2024.
