The Work Immersion Program for Senior High School aims to develop among learners life and career skills, and will prepare them to make decisions on post secondary education or employment. Through partnership building, DepEd hopes that the Partner Institutions will provide learners with work immersion opportunities, workplace or hands-on experience, and additional learning resources. The final phase of the Department of Education's K-12 Program, Senior High School comprises of two years, namely Grades 11 and 12, considered as an enhancement of the Philippines' Basic Education. It aims to hone globally competitive citizens, with its specialized curriculum, gearing Filipino students for further studies, employment or entrepreneurship.
